·        60 minute lessons @ $2850 or 5 payments of $570

Billing/Payment

Invoices will be issued every other month. The bill reflects a portion of the overall tuition and does not reflect the number of weeks in that billing period. Invoices will also include any instructional materials the teacher may have purchased for the student as well as recital, competition, masterclass or festival fees (where applicable).

Tuition payment is due on the following five dates:  September 1, November 1, January 1, March 1 and May 1.

Students who commence lessons in the middle of the Academic Year will be billed a pro-rated tuition.

Scheduled/Missed Lessons

34 private lessons are scheduled throughout the Academic Year (Sept-Jun). This enables the student to miss 2 “free” lessons due to family vacations, illness, sports conflicts, last minute cancellations, etc. In the case of an emergency another arrangement might be made at the mutual convenience and discretion of the teacher and student. Refunds will not be made for cancelled lessons. Lessons missed by the teacher will be made up.

One Personal/Sick day is reserved for the teacher. In the case of inclement weather, one make-up will be offered (at the end of the academic year) if the teacher has already taken a personal/sick day.

Registration

In order to reserve your place for the fall, a $50 deposit for each new and returning student is due before June 1.  The registration fee will be applied towards the first tuition bill in September.

Consultation

In some cases it may be desirable for teacher and student to have an initial meeting to determine the student’s skill level and needs so the teacher may plan an appropriate curriculum. Consultation fee is $45.

Application Fee

A $25 non-refundable application fee for all new students is due before the commencement of lessons.
