Dorothy Sutton Performance Festival (click for more info)

The DSPF is a 2 stage performance opportunity for the more motivated student who has demonstrated security in recitals. The first stage is the audition September 30 at West Chester University. Students perform 2 contrasting pieces for a judge and take a theory exam that is appropriate to their level.   The second stage is the State Festival. Students who receive Superior ratings are invited to perform in Showcase Recitals in November.  The location for the state festival is rotated throughout Pennsylvania.

Students and their families are invited to host a Salon Musicale in their home.  Following in the tradition of the 19th century Schubertiads, students play for each other in an informal and friendly atmosphere.  Families come together and share food, music and fellowship. Please let Laura or Joe know if you are interested in hosting either of these.  Dates are flexible.
